Messages are read, but always indicate the number of unread messages. To do this, you need to create a private group that you use to send messages to your contacts.
That’s how it works.
If someone sends you messages, don’t even open their chat room. You can at least read their discussions in the device status bar or on the WhatsApp Home screen.
What you need to do is find a way to reply to their messages without opening a chat room. That’s where the group comes in. Create a random group with a maximum of 2 members, including yourself.
Enter what you want to send in this group and submit it. Now click on the message you want to send to a person who does not want to open his or her chat and hold down the mouse button to open the resend icon.
Now click on the transfer icon, locate the contact and press send. They will receive your message, but they will notice that you have not read the chat. In addition, the icon for a new unread message will remain active on the WhatsApp Home screen.
Hide WhatsApp stories from a specific contact group
